Botica Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 20, 2026 Effective: April 20, 2026

Summary

Botica Red (“Botica”) is a verified professional network for licensed pharmacists in Venezuela. Members can look up drug information, report and discover real-time availability and pricing at specific pharmacies, and participate in a community of verified peers. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. We’ve tried to keep this readable. If anything is unclear, email us at privacy@boticared.com.

Two things worth knowing upfront:

  1. We verify that users are real pharmacists. To do this, we collect professional credentials and identity documents. These are reviewed by our team and kept private. Credential numbers and identity documents are never shown to other users or shared with third parties.
  2. Our business model includes selling aggregated or de-identified market intelligence (regional drug availability patterns, pricing trends, demand signals, and similar insights) to pharmaceutical companies and other commercial partners. No individual pharmacist, pharmacy, or specific report is identifiable in what we sell. Details in “How we share your information” below.
